Pictured above are Pastor Dean Curry and his wife Anne of Life Center Church located in Tacoma - infamous for it's Singing Christmas Tree production for decades now. On Sunday, February 6 my husband and I were interviewed on stage during their three morning services (9 am, 10:30 am and 12 pm). A new series debut this month called "Braveheart" and the topic of discussion was "Man as a Warrior" - thus highlighting not only my husband's literal role in being an Officer in the Military who has spent tours in his military career fighting in both the Kuwait and Iraq wars, but also his/our role in fighting on the front lines at home for our special needs children while being their number one advocate. However, the main message was that even when things are difficult and you are going through fire, that is usually when God's power can truly minister in your life and those around you! God has a plan!p.s. We were so busy before and after services ministering to people we didn't get a moment to even get a picture of my husband and I with Pastor Dean and Anne Curry - too funny. Hoping to get the tape of our interview to post.
Lonnetta Cunningham serves as the Early Childhood Director at Life Center. My husband and I worked under Lonnetta during our last few years of our 10 year tenure as Sunday School Teachers. Lonnetta is an amazing lady - so gifted with children!
Not only is Cherrie Rasmussen the head receptionist at Life Center, but she is also the Assistant Director of the Miss Pierce County Pageant. She is such a blessing.

Brian Sonntag (Washington State Auditor) and his wife Jan Sonntag have been long-time members of Life Center. It was so fun to visit with the both of them between services.
Picture above with Brad Harper (to the right) and his friend Skyler. Brad and I have known each other since High School and have remained friends ever since. It was great to have him attend services today. Thanks Brad for your support!
Paster Emeritus - Fulton Buntain has served as Head Pastor at Life Center Church for decades until a few years ago when the torch was past to Pastor Dean. He sponsored me in first Mrs. Pageant always encouraging me to never give up and go after my dream. He also dedicated both of my boys to the Lord as babies. Pastor Buntain - our family loves you!
It was Scout Sunday this day, so the boys were decked out in their Scout Uniforms. My mom brought them to the last service so they too could be a part of the program in sharing my platform "Embracing the Special Needs Child".
And it a wrap! Pictured above with Anson who serves as the Praise and Worship Leader at Life Center. He is an amazing singer! He is also in the bible study group my husband and I attend every Wednesday - neat guy!
