The Mrs. Washington America Pageant is finally here!

The time has come! I am finally packed up and ready to drive over to Moses Lake to compete this weekend in the 2010 Mrs. Washington America Pageant. What a journey this has been! This is my fourth consecutive year as a contestant. In 2007 I placed 1st runner-up, in 2008 I placed 3rd runner-up (However, I did get Married Woman of the Year this year - what a huge honor!), and last year, 2009, I placed 2nd runner-up. I am hoping and praying that the Lord and the judges will have favor on me to break the runner-up streak and take home the crown! We will see. However, be rest assured that the ladies I am running up against are all worthy of this honor. I am so blessed to have made some wonderful friends through this sisterhood of pageantry. Whoever wins, I wish her the very best and God's Blessings!
