Here I am as Mrs. Pierce County speaking to Miss Idlewild's class about the importance of Music Education. I encouraged them to take advantage of learning how to play a musical instrument this fall as they head on to middle school. I also shared my platform "Embracing the Special Needs Child". We talked about how they as students can show empathy and kindness to other students who may be challenged by a disability - so proud of these kids by the ideas they shared on how this can be accomplished.
